My Tuesday Girls

Let me introduce you all to my Tuesday girls. Well, they are not actually mine, but you know what I mean!
In the first two photos we have the Awesome Foursome - (L to R) Sue, Joyce, Lyn & Barb.
Next to that is Jo & Viv together and then Wendy and Glad.
Because Margaret is taking a well earned break visiting her family in Katherine and jetting also up to Darwin, we have had Anja filling in and keeping us entertained. Margaret will be back next week and very refreshed to receive the hard time we will give her next Tuesday. I found a photo taken at our retreat of Margaret. She is wearing the blue top.
I think you can understand why I love spending Tuesday with the girls especially the Awesome Foursome.

Until next time, have a great day or night where ever you may be!

Party for Kids with Cancer 2

As previously mentioned, my friend, Kirsty, held a Trivia/Auction night last Friday night to raise money for Kids with Cancer. Here is the second lot of cards that I made for the Auction -

As you can see, I used a variety of stamps, a variety of techniques, papers and ribbons.
I really enjoyed making this set and will make some more in different colors for future fundraisers.

Until next time, have a great day or night where ever you may be!

Party for Kids with Cancer

On Friday night I attended a Trivia/Auction night which my friend, Kirsty, mainly organised. She is a Lorraine Lee Linen consultant and the charity that company supports is Kids with Cancer. Unfortunately not too many people attended, but a great night was had by all and a nice sum of money was raised.
I was asked to be the front ticket person so was sitting down by the front door at a little table by myself (my favorite position - by myself, haha) so I did the Trivia Quiz by myself. I called myself "The Loner" so I was easily recognizable. I came 2nd to last, so I didn't think that I did too bad a job.
Anyway, I made some card packs for Kirsty to auction off on the night and I thought I would share them with you.

This is one pack I made, giving credit for pattern to Tracey Old from NZ. I enlarged the pattern so that it would fit A5 cards. I used the watercolor technique on my roses to make them shades of blue. One lot of dsp is from the Bella Bleu pack and the dotty one is one I found in my local shop.
Stamp sets used are Fifth Avenue Floral, Congrats and Oval Alls.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog.

Have a great day or night where ever you may be. Until tomorrow.
