A lazy Sunday afternoon

I could not have asked for a nicer way to spend the afternoon than card making with 2 friends. Hello Flo and Liz. We did a lot of talking, made some cards, ate afternoon tea, did some more stamping and punching. And my daughter, Lisa, also called around to say hello and see what we were up to. Liz partner, Dennis, was also there helping us out and giving us some tips. Thank you, Dennis. So here is what I came up with.

For some reason I just wanted to use Whisper White, Basic Black and Red Riding Hood. I had made this card and posted it earlier in different colors but Flo wanted to know how to do it so we did a kind of one on one workshop.
I clear embossed the trees in Riding Hood Red and Rose Red, mounted it and voila.

The second card I created was based on a card I saw on the site of a very talented friend Donna. Her cards are amazing. Anyway using the White, Black and Red theme again I came up with this. I just love Lovely As A Tree (as if you couldn't tell)

This is the inside of the card. I always like to do something on the inside as I think it makes the card look nicer.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. It is still a work in progress as I have much to learn.

Until next time, have a great day.
